Johnson Biofuels collects and recycles used cooking oil for it’s processing into ASTM certified biodiesel. We offer various products and services and are the only legally registered producer of biodiesel in the tri-county area. We are proud to be the first licensed producer to offer biodiesel to South Florida.

History

Johnson Biofuels was initially created out of necessity to reduce fuel costs for Johnson Environmental Services. Our early research indicated that biodiesel available in South Florida was not produced locally, still incorporated over 90% petroleum diesel and was actually more expensive then regular diesel. As our researched expanded, we started to realize the positive impact that biodiesel has on the environment and thus Johnson Biofuels was established.

The company was formed by three childhood friends who together have more than 40 years experience in environmental management, sustainable development, finance, construction, engineering, waste water management and underground utilities.
